On the 28th of July, my darling and I went to the " Scottish Highland Games and Clan Gathering"
in Enumclaw, Washington. This year, the event had it's 66th year anniversary. The festival was soooo cool!
I saw a lot of interesting shops, Clan tents, music bands, plays, Scottish Country Dancing, Scottish Highland 
Games, Scottish Athletic Events, Bag Pipe Bands, Dog Contests and more...........!! 


We stopped at our family's clan tent. I found the "Snoddy" name on the "Clan Sinclair" family tree. It was so 
cool!! Each Clan has their own style kilt patterns (tartans). I saw a lot of different kinds of kilts in this place. 
Many boys were wearing traditional shirts, kilts, socks, shoes and sporrans. And many girls were wearing 
dresses with big shawls. It looked like I visited to the another world.


After lunch, we found a traditional meat pie shop. I always want to try something new. So, even though I was 
full, I wanted try that meat pie. I ordered a beef and mushroom pie. It was new taste for me but, it was juicy and yummy!! 


We met our friend and his family. We had a great time with them. The weather was nice, It was fun day!!

７月２８日、ダーリンと私は、ワシントン州のEnumclawで開催された、
" Scottish Highland Games and Clan Gathering"に行ってきました。今年で６６周年めだそうです。
すっごくステキなフェスティバルでした。沢山の面白いお店、スコットランドの氏族•一族（きっと、日本で言うなら大名＊＊家）のテント、ミュージック•バンド、演劇、スコットランドのダンス、スコットランドのゲーム、スコットランドのスポーツ競技、バグ•パイプのバンド、犬のコンテスト、、、、もっともっと見たよ！！


私達は、私達の一族のテントに立ち寄りました。"Clan Sinclair"の一族のグループの中に "Snoddy"を見つけました。感激！！それぞれの一族には独自のキルト模様[タータンチェック]があります(日本で言うなら家紋でしょうか！？）。
フェスティバルの会場では、沢山の種類のキルト（男性用のスカート）を見かけました。沢山の男性達は、伝統的なシャツ、キルト、靴下、靴、sporrans（毛皮のポシェットみたいなバッグで、男性がキルト着用時につける）を身につけていました。そして、女性達は、ドレスにキルト模様の大きなショールを身に着けていました。まるで、別世界に来たかのようでした。


昼食のあと、会場に伝統的なミート•パイのお店を発見。いつも、新しい物を試してみたいワタシ。お腹がいっぱいなのにもかかわらず、そのパイを試してみたくなりました。ビーフとマッシュルームのパイを注文。
私に取ってはとても新しい味だったけど、ジューシーでおいしかったです。


私達の友人とそのご家族にも会えました。彼らとも楽しいひと時を過ごしました。お天気もよかったし、
楽しい一日でした。

The birthday party for the Cancer（蟹座） boys

On the 25th of July, our best friends Greg and Ann-Marie planed a great birthday dinner for Kyle and Brian. They are always so nice to us.

We went to one of our favorite Italian restaurants in Seattle. The name is CAFE LAGO. Their food was so good and their wine selection was just great!! My darling and I had a 200% great time there, of course we ordered Chianti too. We had a great time with our good friends, good food and good wine.....I felt so happy.

７月２５日、私達のベスト•フレンドのGreg and Ann-MarieがKyle and Brianのために、ステキなお誕生日ディナーを企画してくれました。Greg and Ann-Marieはいつも私達に良くしてくれます（感謝！！）。

私達は、シアトルの中で一番好きなイタリアン•レストランに行きました。お店の名前は
CAFE LAGOと言います。彼らのメニューはとてもおいしく、ワインのセレクションはとにかく素晴らしいの一言！！ダーリンと私はそこで２００％満足し、もちろん、キャンティ（イタリアの赤ワイン）もしっかりと注文しました。良い友達とおいしい食べ物とおいしいワインで、素晴らしいひと時を過ごしました。う〜ん、幸せ。

A couple days ago, my darling and I went to one of our friends house. He invited us to his small BBQ party. He is an expert of meat. Usually he cooks yummy meat dishes for us with his cool BBQ grill.

This time, he cooked a sour taste sparerib, beef stake, smoked bacon and beans.  The sparerib was just huge!! He marinaded the meat with his special sauce for almost one day. The taste was great!!

We brought a salad dish, edamame, blueberries and two bottles of wine. We had a great time with them. Thank you for very nice and fun day!!

２〜３日前、ダーリンと私は、友人宅へ伺いました。彼の小さなバーベキュー•パーティーに招待してくれたのです（肉のボリュームは、全然小さくなかったわ！！）。彼は肉のエキスパートなんだよ〜。いつも、彼の特別なバーベキュー•グリルで、私達においしいお肉を焼いてくれます。

今回は、酢で味漬けたスペアリブ、ビーフ•ステーキ、スモーク•ベーコン、お豆さん。スペアリブは、とにかくでっかかったよ〜！！そのスペアリブを、ほぼ一日ぐらい彼の特別なソースにマリネしたそうです。お味は、抜群！！

私達は、サラダと枝豆とブルーベリーと赤ワイン２本を持って行きました。楽しい時間を過ごせました。ナイスで楽しい一日をありがとう！！

A new pizza

Last week, I went to a pizza shop with my friends. The name is FLYING SQUIRREL PIZZA. Everything there is pretty good...!

We wanted to try something new. We checked the menu for a while then, we ordered a pizza with strawberry, ham, cheese and tomato sauce . We have never eaten a strawberry pizza before!! We had a small adventure.

The pizza was tasty!! I think, a sweet and salty taste is a perfect combination. I love it.

We enjoyed a special pizza, red wine and girls talk. It was a fun night!!

先週、友人達と一緒にピザ屋に行きました。そのお店の名前はFLYING SQUIRREL PIZZA。そのお店のものはなんでもおいしいのです！！

何か新しい物を頼もうとしました。しばらくの間メニューをくまなくチェックし、
イチゴ（！！）とハムとチーズとトマトソースのピザを頼みました。みんな、イチゴが乗っかっているピザなんて食べた事がありません。ちょっと冒険してみました。

（イチゴが乗っかっている）ピザは、なかなかシャレた味でおいしかったです。思うに、
甘さとしょっぱさが良いコンビなんだよね。うまかったっす。

私達は、スペシャルなピザと赤ワインとガールズのおしゃべりを楽しみました。楽しい夜でしたよ〜ん！！

New extra virgin olive oil

I got a new extra virgin olive oil and Chardonnay wine jelly today. They were a little bit expensive but, their taste was excellent!! To be honest, they were on sale, I got them 50% off. I think, it was a pretty big deal!!

Good husband, good food and good wine are my dream world for me.....

今日、新しいエキストラ•ヴァージン•オリーブ•オイルとシャルドネ•ワイン•ジャム（シャルドネ種の白ワインのジャム）をゲットしました。ちょっと値段が高かったけど、味は激ウマ！！正直に言うと、セールだったので、なんと半額でゲット。すっごくお得でしたよ〜！！

良い旦那様、良い食べ物、良いワインが、私にとっちゃぁ夢の世界なのだ。。。。。
