Scottish Highland Games & Clan Gathering 2013-01
Last Saturday, my darling and I went to the Scottish Highland Games & Clan Gathering in Enumclaw Washington. It was 67th annual event. This year, my darling wore his family's kilt colors. Wow!! He looked like a very cool Scottish guy.
First, we went to a Scottish style meet pie shop to get our favorite pie. Then we stopped at a beer shop to meet one of our friends. By the way, Scottish style meet pies and beer are a great combination!!
We stopped at our family clan's tent. It was so cool. We enjoyed a lot of events, Scottish music, Scottish food and shopping.
Someday, I want to wear some traditional Scottish dress. It will be fun!!

先週の土曜日、ダーリンと一緒にWashingtonのEnumclawで開催されたScottish Highland Games & Clan Gatherinに行きました。今年で第６７回目だって。今年、ダーリンは彼の一族の色のキルトを着用。ワ〜オ！！超カッコイイっぽいスコットランド人のようだった。
最初に、私達の大好きなパイを買うために、スコットランド風のミート•パイのお店に行きました。それから、友人と合流するためにビール屋に行きました。ところで、スコットランド風のミート•パイとビールは良く合うねぇ！！
ダーリンの一族のテントにも立ち寄りました。とてもステキでした。たくさんの催し物やらスコットランドの音楽やらスコットランドの食べ物やらお買い物等楽しみました。
いつか、伝統的なスコットランドのドレスを着てみたいな。きっと楽しいよ〜！！

Bite of Seattle 2013-01
10 days ago, my darling and I went to the "Bite Of Seattle" in downtown. It was a cool food festival.
We arrived there by bus. There were already so many people and so many food shops there.
We tried some yummy lamb meat on a skewer. Then, we stopped at a Thai shop to get some fried shrimp spring rolls. Then we went to a wine tasting place. They had a cool Jazz show at that time. We enjoyed nice red wine and cool Jazz music.
Next, we tried some fried alligator on a skewer, a south style crab cake and a slow-smoked pork dish. All of them were so good. We felt so fat!! We enjoyed that festival all day long. It was very fun!!

１０日前、ダーリンと私は、ダウンタウンの"Bite Of Seattle"っつーイベントに行きました。なかなか他では味わえないおもしろい食べ物のお祭りです。
バスに乗って会場まで行きました。（結構早めに行ったのに）既に、沢山の人々が来ており沢山のお店が出店していました。まずは、おいしいラムの串刺しをお試し。それから、揚げたエビの春巻きを食べるためにタイ料理のお店に立ち止まりました。それから、ワイン•テイスティングの場所へ。ちょうどジャズのショーをやっていました。赤ワインとジャズを満喫。
次に、揚げたワニの串刺しや南部スタイルのかにコロッケや時間をかけて薫製にした豚肉を試しました。おいしかったな〜。超お腹がいっぱいで太った気分になったよ！！一日中、お祭りを楽しみました。楽しかったよ！！
