Cool guests from Japan-01

2 weeks ago, we had two guests from Japan. I was sooooo happy!! Because, I can meet my friends, I can speak Japanese with them (girl's catting!!), and I can feel some Japanese culture from them.

We went to a crepe shop in Seattle for our breakfast, then we went to the Ballard farmers market to see some cool stuff. Then, we stopped at some shops to see western style things. I really had a great time with them. My darling had the same feeling with me (he loves Japanese armors, people, culture, manners and food). I hope they had a great time, too.

By the way, they brought a lot of souvenirs from Japan. My darling and I were sooooo glad to get them!! We got some real high quality green tea (from a long-established store of Kyoto), some hot taste rice crackers, some famous candy(Milky), and some under shirts which were made by a very popular Japanese brand "UNIQLO". Thank you guys so much!! I hope see you guys again........

２週間前、日本から二人のお客様が来ました。ワタシ的にはすっごくハッピー！！なぜかと言うと、まず友達に会えるし、日本語がしゃべれるし（ガールズのおしゃべりでね！！）、日本の文化や雰囲気を感じられるので。

朝食を食べるためにシアトルにあるクレープショップに行き、それから何かおもしろい物を見にBallard のファーマーズ•マーケットに行きました。その後は、西洋っぽい物を見に何件かのお店にも行ってみました。ワタシ的には、彼女達とすっごく楽しい時間を過ごせましたよ〜。ダーリンも私と同じように思っていたみたい（彼は、日本の甲冑と日本の人々と日本の文化と日本のマナーと日本の食べ物{注：日本食全般ではありません}が大好きです）。彼女達も楽しい時間を過ごせていたらうれしいです。

ところで、彼女達は、日本からたくさんのお土産を持って来てくれました。ダーリンも私も大喜び！！品質の高い緑茶（京都にある老舗からのお取り寄せ）、辛い味のおせんべい、昔っからある有名なキャンディー（ミルキー）、そして、人気のある日本のブランド、”ユニクロ”のアンダー•ウェア（ヒート•テックじゃぁぁぁぁ！！）。本当に本当に、ありがとうございました！！また、お会いできる日を楽しみにしております。。。。。

Hair cut

I went to a beauty shop in Redmond to have my hair cut and permed today. I had not cut and permed my hair for almost 1 year. So, it was getting difficult to style my hair.

The shop boss created a pretty hair style for me. I hope, I can make same hair style everyday like he did. Probably, I have to fight with my hair dryer every morning!!

今日、Redmondにある美容院に、ヘアカットとパーマをかけてもらいに行ってきました。１年ぐらいカットもパーマもやっていなかったのです（伸び放題じゃ〜）。だんだん髪型を作りにくくなって来ていました。

店長さんが、ステキなヘアスタイルにしてくれました。彼がやってくれたように、私も毎日同じようなヘアスタイルが作れればいいなぁ。おそらく、毎朝、ドライヤーと戦わなければならないかもね！！

Black Friday

After Thanksgiving Day, we have the biggest shopping day in America. We call this day "Black Friday". So, I went to downtown Seattle to get something in the afternoon. When I arrived , I saw a lot of people with many shopping bags. It looked like everybody was there.

At first, I went to Nordstrom Rack, because I always can find something cool there. I wanted to see bags, shoes, gloves, scarves, jackets, skirts........everything. Many people were there. I threaded my way through the crowd. Especially, in front of register, people were making a long line. It was crazy!!

Eventually, I bought a pair of black long leather gloves and two pairs of black shoes(for my work). I felt tired, so I went home very quickly. I will go back there on another day(I think, an ordinary day is good idea!!). Good news is, I was looking for a pair of long leather gloves for long time, I found some nice ones. I am pretty happy!!

感謝祭の後、アメリカでは大きなお買い物デーがあります。私達は その日を"Black Friday"と呼びます。それで私も、午後からSeattleのダウンタウンへ何かをゲットしに出かけました。私がダウンタウンに着いた時、たくさんの買い物袋を抱えた人々をたくさん見ました。誰も彼もがそこにいるって感じ。

いつも何かしらステキな物を見つけられるので、まず最初にNordstrom Rackに行きました。バッグ、靴、マフラー、ジャケット、スカート。。。。。いろんな物全部を見たかったのです。そこにもすっごくたくさんの人がいました。人ごみを縫うようにして通ったわさ。特にレジの前は、長蛇の列が出来ていました。クレィジーだったよ〜！！

最終的には、黒い革の長〜い手袋と黒いスニーカー２足（バイト用）を買いました。それだけで結構へろへろに疲れたので、そそくさとお家に帰りました。違う日にまたNordstrom Rackに行くつもりです（平日に行った方がいいわ！！）。グッド•ニュースは、長い間、革の長〜い手袋を探していたのですが、品質のいい物を見つけちゃった。う〜ん、し•あ•わ•せ！！

Every year, we celebrated Thanksgiving Day in our house. We always had a turkey (special Snoddy way), potatoes, green beans, a pumpkin pie and some red wine.

This year, one of our cousins invited us to his new house. We went there to meet our relatives and to celebrate Thanksgiving Day with them. We hadn't seen them for a long time. We were so happy to see them. I saw a lot of traditional western style food. I tried almost all of their great dishes. I wanted to study how to cook a cool traditional western dish. All of their food was so delicious!!

We had a great time with them. After dinner time, we played a cool card game that my darling and his friend created. We enjoyed the game a lot.

I hope, some day, I can cook a lot of yummy food like our relatives for my darling.

毎年、感謝祭の日は、私達のお家でお祝いしていました。いつもターキー（特別なSnoddyスタイルで）、ジャガイモ、インゲン、パンプキン•パイ、赤ワインをいただいておりました。

今年は、私達の従兄弟が、彼の新しいお家に招待してくれたのです。親戚の人々に会うためと、感謝祭の日を彼らと一緒に祝うためにそのお家に行きました。しばらくの間、みんなと会っていなかったので。みんなと会えてうれしかったでぇ〜す。たくさんの伝統的な西洋式のお料理をみました。スバラシイお料理のほとんどを食べてみたよ。どうやって伝統的な西洋のお料理を作るのか、勉強したかったんだも〜ん。全てのお料理がおいしかったです！！

みんなととてもステキな時間を過ごせました。ディナーの後、ダーリンとダーリンの友達が作ったクールなカード•ゲームで遊びました。そのゲームで盛り上がって楽しかったです。

いつの日か、ダーリンのために、親戚が作ったようなおいしい料理が、わたしにもたくさん作れたらいいなぁと思います。

３３年物の赤ワインのボトルです（中身は飲んじまっただす）。先日、私達の大好きなお友達の一人が、この素敵なプレゼントを下さいました。風味があってとてもおいしかった。。。。

このボトルに３３年もの歴史があるんだって。なんだかすご〜く素敵だと思わない？
